This week we are celebrating the 40th birthday of one of my musical SHEROES, Jenn Wasner, born April 16th, 1986. Jenn's long and super impressive performing, recording, composing, and production resume includes Bon Iver, Dijon, Sylvan Esso, Future Islands, Deerhoof, and Sharon Van Etten, to name a few. Over the last 20 years this wildly talented multi instrumentalist, singer, songwriter,  producer and co-founder of the Baltimore, Maryland duo Wye Oak, has not only forged a name for herself as an in-demand studio session player and touring musician, a producer, and member of Bon Iver, but also has a passionate fan base for her now decade-long solo project Flock of Dimes. To celebrate Jenn’s 40th birthday, we revisit our most recent interview from October about her third album, The Life You Save. And we invite a very special guest - Amelia Meath of Sylvan Esso - to share a birthday message for Jenn, and spin a favorite Flock of Dimes track.
