When I was starting the SHEROES project in 2019, and brainstorming merch idea, a friend showed me a lightning bolt earring she had and I became obsessed with finding a necklace version. But I’m picky about my jewelry, and have sensitive skin. I searched Etsy and found a few womxn makers I liked, and ordered a few different versions. This one by Landon Lacey was by far the prettiest, the sturdiest, and didn’t tarnish or irritate my skin. And she is super nice to work with, too!
